Tips to Know Prior to your Examination
- Contact Wearers: If you wear soft contact lenses, please keep them out 3 full days prior to your examination. If you wear gas permeable/hard contact lenses, please keep them out a minimum of 2 weeks prior to your examination. This ensures the most accurate measurements.
- If you don’t have follow-ups scheduled already, it would be a great idea to bring along a calendar of some sort so we can lock in your follow-ups dates.
- You will be dilated for the first examination, so if your eyes are more sensitive, we recommend bringing a driver to help drive you home afterwards. Please note – a driver is not required for the exam.
- The arrival times for surgery are not finalized until 5-7 days prior to your surgery, so if your surgery date(s) are over 10 days out, we do not know the arrival times yet.
